How does our Solar Panel cleaning program work?
Every time we clean, we'll provide services that include the following:
- The first thing we do is take a series of BEFORE pictures. The last thing we do is take a series of AFTER pictures.
- We only clean solar panels in temperatures under 90 degrees. This means most cleanings happen in the morning hours rather than the afternoon when the panels can reach temperatures exceeding 140 degrees. If you put water on 140 degree panels you can crack them.
- We utilize State of the Art SPOT FREE Filtered water system that pumps the water to the roof and allows us to use a special "Boars Hair" brush to scrub your panels. On the back of the brush is a Bronze Wool pad that allows us to get off stubborn stains, bird droppings and bee pollen without scratching the panels.
- Lastly, we rinse the panels with the SPOT FREE water to ensure a flawless finish. Once your panels are clean, you will see a very rich, deep beautiful color instead of the gray smokey color — dust and dirt — filled panels we started with. We will also inspect the panels and give recommendations if we see any problems.
